Sigourney Weaver Gives Update On 'Avatar' Sequels: 'Many Times More Amazing Than The First One'
Sigourney Weaver is finally talking about the much-anticipated Avatar sequels!
It was recently confirmed by director James Cameron that Avatar is set to receive four sequels. “In my opinion, the three scripts I’ve read so far are many times more amazing than the first one in terms of their scope,” the 67-year-old actress revealed to Variety. “He did a lot of the heavy lifting in the first movie, establishing the family and the relationships and the world, and now he really gets to play.”

Last night (December 7), Sigourney joined co-stars Liam Neeson and Lewis MacDougall, as well as director J.A. Bayona and producer Belen Atienza at the premiere of their film A Monster Calls held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.
That same evening, Sigourney made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she promoted A Monster Calls and talked about how she’s feeling post Presidential election – Watch the interview below!
