Charlie Hunnam Did One Thousand Push-Ups A Day For 'King Arthur'!
Charlie Hunnam went above and beyond to get his body in tip top shape for his anticipated film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword!
While making an appearance on a special Kristen Bell-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (May 4) in Los Angeles, the 37-year-old actor revealed the commitment he made to get his body right for the flick.
“I did a lot of fighting, I did some muay thai boxing, jiu jitsu, Guy [Ritchie] the director is big into jiu jitsu,” Charlie told Kristen. “Mainly I set myself a goal of doing 1,000 push-ups a day minimum. Yeah, for six months.”
“I’m a little bit crazy so if there was a day that I didn’t get the thousand I would punish myself and have to do 2,000 the next day,” Charlie added. “Yeah, you know, you gotta get after it. Eye of the tiger!”
