Kate Bosworth Takes Part in CAST's Inspiring Night with Husband Michael Polish

Kate Bosworth and her husband Michael Polish walk the carpet at CAST’s 2017 Slavery to Freedom Gala on Thursday (May 18) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress was at the event to support the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking’s mission to end human trafficking around the world.

Kate and Michael are producing a film called Nona, which aims to raise awareness of the human trafficking industry, and they debuted a clip at the event.

“I’m so proud to be standing on this stage tonight to introduce CAST’s CEO Kay Buck. Through CAST’s efforts and the efforts of all of you, we grow closer to making this generation of human trafficking survivors our last,” Kate said at the event. “Through my film, I hope to play even the smallest part lending support to the incredible work CAST is so fiercely championing.”

“Such an inspiring night!” she wrote on Twitter later that evening.
