Ed Sheeran Says He's Not Actually Quitting Twitter

Ed Sheeran would like to clarify some comments he made recently stating that he was done with social media.

The 26-year-old “Shape of You” singer had told The Sun that he was leaving Twitter because he didn’t want to deal with Internet trolls anymore.

He especially didn’t want to deal with fans who had allegedly attacked him because they assumed he was talking about Lady Gaga the wrong way in an interview, though he says he wasn’t even talking about her. (See how Gaga responded here.)

“Q magazine is out now,” Ed shared on Instagram on Wednesday (July 5) along with a photo of himself tuning his guitar. “Also loads of Hoo-har about me quitting stuff. I haven’t quit anything, I’m just not reading anything, except Harry Potter. Hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th yo.”
