Ashton Kutcher Responds to Criticism of His Post About Gender Equality in the Workplace

Ashton Kutcher is responding to some backlash he received after making a post about gender equality in the workplace.

Earlier this week, the 39-year-old actor announced that he planned to host a “live open dialogue about gender equality in the workplace.”

Ashton took to his LinkedIn profile to share questions he planned to ask during the talk, which included “What advice should we be giving to female entrepreneurs?” and “What are the rules for dating in the work place? Flirting?”

Many fans wrote back expressing that the questions were based on flawed assumptions about women.

Ashton took the feedback to heart and spoke out on his Twitter about the criticism.

“thank you everyone for the feedback on the questions I posted on LinkedIn. Good and bad. Already a learning experience,” Ashton wrote.

He continued, “I’ve already offended some folks by asking the wrong questions. I’m certain given the sensitivity of the topic I will say other things wrong…Hope we can find space to be wrong in the pursuit of getting it right.”
