Ryan Reynolds Mourns Loss of 'Deadpool 2' Stunt Woman, Releases Statement After Tragic Accident

Ryan Reynolds has released a statement after a stunt woman tragically died on the set of the Deadpool sequel in Canada.

“We’re heartbroken, shocked, and devastated,” Ryan wrote in his statement on his Twitter. “…but recognize that nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.”

“My heart pours out to them — along with each and every person she touched in this world,” Ryan continued.

The stunt woman, who has not been identified, was riding a motorcycle when it crashed through the glass of the Shaw Tower’s ground-floor studio. She reportedly did not use the breaks on the bike.
