Meryl Streep & Tom Hanks Bring 'The Post' to Palm Springs International Film Festival

Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks joined forces at the 2018 Palm Springs International Film Festival!

The 68-year-old actress and the 61-year-old actor attended the screening of their new movie The Post on Thursday (January 4) at Palm Springs High School in Palm Springs, Calif.

They were joined by director Steven Spielberg, writers Liz Hannah and Josh Singer, and other crew members.

The group also took the stage to discuss the film during a panel session.

The Post – nominated for multiple Golden Globes this weekend – tells the story of a cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents, pushing the country’s first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between journalist and government.
