Amy Poehler Walks Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet with Activist Saru Jayaraman

Amy Poehler hits the red carpet alongside Saru Jayaraman at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress and the fair wages activist both wore black to the event to show their support for the Time’s Up initiative, which aims to raise awareness about gender inequality, abuse of power and harassment.

Amy was one of several actress who attended the event with a female rights activist. Saru co-founded the Restaurants Opportunities Centers United to influence fair wages and safe workplaces for all restaurant workers.
