Dwayne Johnson Totally Owns His Razzie Award for 'Baywatch' (Video)

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is proudly accepting his Razzie Award.

The 45-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday (March 4) to share his acceptance speech while other movies were receiving top honors during the 2018 Academy Awards.

Dwayne‘s Baywatch earned the Razzie for “The Razzie Nominee So Rotten You Loved It,” beating out The Emoji Movie, Fifty Shades Darker, Transformers: The Last Knight, and The Mummy.

“It’s Oscar Sunday, I’m super pumped and very proud of my buddies who are nominated,” he says in the clip. “I’m pulling for you guys to bring home the gold. I’m also excited because I was just informed that I too am bringing home the gold tonight, no not an Oscar, maybe one day, but a Razzie. ”

“But here’s the cool thing,” he adds. “The movie was so bad, they actually had to create a new category, I’m not kidding, that category, the new category, is ‘A Movie So Rotten You Eventually Fell in Love With It.’ I’m not kidding. Which means the s–t sandwich you have been eating is so bad that you eventually started to like it.”
