Cynthia Nixon Addresses the LGBTQ Community During Pride Place Event in NYC

Cynthia Nixon is advocating for the LGBTQ community.

The Sex & The City actress and gubernatorial candidate attended Pride Media’s A Conversation With Cynthia Nixon as part of Pride Place at Samsung 837 on Tuesday (June 19) in New York City.

During the panel, moderated by The Advocate‘s Lucas Grindley, Cynthia discussed a wide range of issues and popular topics facing the LGBTQ community including conversion therapy bans, the #MeToo movement and the role of women in New York politics.

Pride Place is a five-day experiential pop-up during New York City Pride, running from June 18-22, in which Pride Media’s brands come together to celebrate the intersection of community and culture within the LGBTQ+ community.
