Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospitalized After Falling, Fracturing Three Ribs

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the court on Wednesday evening (November 7) and suffered an injury.

In a statement provided by the court, she fell and then went home before admitting herself to the hospital in the morning.

“She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning,” the statement said. “Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment.”

The court promised to provide further updates as they are made available.

Justice Ginsburg previously fractured ribs in a fall back in 2012.

We’re wishing Justice Ginsburg all the best and a speedy recovery!
