Dakota Johnson Celebrates Female Majority on Marrakech Film Festival Jury

Dakota Johnson is all smiles while sitting down for a press conference during the 2018 Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday (December 1) at the Palais des Congres in Marrakech, Morocco.

The 29-year-old actress is serving on the film festival’s jury and she joined other jury members to chat with the press.

Dakota celebrated the fact that there are more women on the jury than men this year.

“This jury happens to have more women and perhaps there might be an avenue for this to occur more often in the future, and I think that’s awesome,” Dakota said (via Variety).

She also said she was “under the impression that there were almost as many women involved in cinema behind the camera, in front of the camera, behind film festivals and in film festivals.”
