Gemma Chan & Tessa Thompson Go Glam for Spirit Awards 2019

Gemma Chan arrives in style for the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 23) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 36-year-old Crazy Rich Asians actress donned a sparkling pink and gold dress as she was joined at the event by Tessa Thompson.

During the show, drag queen Shangela took to the stage as the “black drag queen version” of host Aubrey Plaza to honor the five best feature nominees with a fierce performance.
