Glenn Close Wears a Gold Cape on Oscars 2019 Red Carpet

Glenn Close makes an epic arrival on the red carpet with a long gold cape at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 71-year-old actress is nominated for Best Actress this evening for her work in The Wife.

This is the seventh nomination for Glenn and she has yet to win at the Oscars. She is currently the most-nominated actor without a win, but that could all change this evening.

Also nominated for Best Actress are Roma‘s Yalitza Aparicio, The Favourite‘s Olivia Colman, A Star Is Born‘s Lady Gaga, and Can You Ever Forgive Me?‘s Melissa McCarthy.
