Captain Marvel is having a big opening weekend at the box office!

The Brie Larson-led superhero movie has brought in $153 million in North America over its opening weekend, according to Variety on Sunday (March 10).

The movie also took in $302 million internationally, with an estimated global opening weekend of $455 million, making it the sixth highest global debut in history.

The movie now claims the 18th biggest domestic opening weekend of all time, following just after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with $155.1 million in 2016.

This is also the first weekend of 2019 to outperform the same time period of 2018.
