Anne Hathaway‘s pants split at a very inopportune time: right before her interview at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (May 7)!

The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she had to cover up her pants as she exited her car outside the Ed Sullivan Theater before her guest appearance on the late-night show.

“If you guys want to, Google the pictures of me outside. Now you might notice I’m standing like this,” Anne explained, placing her hand on her hip and crossing her legs. “And the reason I’m standing like that is because I looked down in the car, and my pants had split.”

Later in the show, Anne explained her love for RuPaul’s Drag Race and revealed she has never met the charismatic host, RuPaul himself, and he surprises her with an appearance – Watch after the cut!
