Special Tony Awards Honoree Judith Light Shines on Red Carpet

Judith Light looks so fierce while walking the red carpet at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 70-year-old actress is being honored with the Isabelle Stevenson Award for her advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

“The HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ communities are inspirations and demonstrations of how to be and live in the world; courageous, honorable, and uplifting,” Judith said in a statement when it was announced she was receiving the award. “They inspire me and it is my privilege to be of service to them. I am humbled by this recognition from my theater family, whom I so respect, honor, and love.”

Judith previously won a Tony Award for her work in 2013′s The Assembled Parties.
