Margaret Qualley's 'Parent Trap' Wish Came True Thanks To Her Mom Andie MacDowell!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star Margaret Qualley hit James Corden‘s couch alongside Jamie Bell on last night’s (August 1) episode of The Late Late Show!

James asked Margaret, 24, who is the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, about what films had an early impact on her, and Margaret recalls pushing her parents (father Paul Qualley), in the midst of separating, to follow the plot of The Parent Trap.

“Being a child of divorce, I just really glued onto The Parent Trap,” Margaret admitted. “I like both versions but I was particularly drawn to the Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Quaid version. A funny thing ended up happening with all that.”

Margaret revealed she was a bit surprised when her mother Andie eventually introduced her to her new boyfriend, Dennis Quaid, who played the father in The Parent Trap.

“I was shocked. I was like ‘you really understood, you missed the mark here. I felt like I made this happen’,” Margaret recalled. “She started dating Dennis Quaid and I was sure it was all my fault.”
