Amanda Seyfried Says She Became Dog Person Because of 'The Art Of Racing In The Rain'!

Amanda Seyfried stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night (August 6), and dished all about her brand new film The Art Of Racing In The Rain!

The 33-year-old actress revealed the original book is what lead her to becoming a “dog person,” and owning her dog Finn, who she arrived with.

“[He's] a conscious dog. A very funny, wonderful, sweet dog as they all are,” Amanda said about the film’s dog Enzo. “It’s also the best book. I read the book and I became a dog person because of it.”

The film follows a dog named Enzo (Kevin Costner) and his best friend and owner, Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia), an aspiring Formula One race car driver, as they navigate the journey of life and the loves of Denny’s life – his wife, Eve (Seyfried), their young daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong).

Amanda Seyfried also opened up about having a farm with a donkey and chickens in hopes that it will help her daughter understand the cycle of life – Watch below!
