Camilo Sesto Dead - Spanish Singer Dies at 72

Camilo Sesto has sadly died.

The iconic Spanish singer passed away over the weekend, according to an update on his official Twitter on Saturday (September 7). The cause of his death has not yet been made public.

Camilo was scheduled to tour in the United States, beginning with a show at Coliseo de Puerto Rico on October 3, along with an album release scheduled for September 13.

Beginning with his first hit “Algo de mi,” Camilo went on to sell 180 million albums worldwide, achieving global acclaim in the ’70s and ’80s with many romantic Spanish-language standards.
