Christian Slater Calls 'Mr. Robot''s Final Season 'Extraordinary'!

Christian Slater made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night (September 27), and dished all about the final season of Mr. Robot!

“[Creator] Sam Esmail always did say it would be about four to five seasons. He said that he always knew what the ending was going to be from the beginning,” the Golden Globe winner told Kimmel. “Every season we’ve done the show he calls and fills us in on what our character arc will be for that particular season. For this last season he called and spelled it out.”

“It’s extraordinary, I think,” Christian continued. “Very exciting, very interesting, there’s going to be a lot of hard things to cope with and deal with.”

Christian then talked about not having a big bash to celebrate his 50th birthday because his wife, Brittany Lopez, went into labor two days before his big day. However, he was able to take his daughter home on his actual birthday.

“She was born on August 16th. My birthday’s the 18th,” Christian said. “My wife was in the middle of labor and all those things, but I did get to bring my baby home on my birthday.”

Christian Slater also talked about working with Rami Malek, his most prized possession on set, choosing underwear for different characters, and the advice he got from Sean Connery.
