Chris Evans Accidentally Spoiled the Ending of 'Avengers: Endgame' For Anthony Mackie

Chris Evans accidentally spoiled the end of Avengers: Endgame for one of his co-stars!

The 38-year-old actor revealed that he told Anthony Mackie about the end of the film before he had the chance to read the script.

“They had given me the scene where I gave the shield to Mackie…while we were filming in Atlanta, I had a few people over to watch football and Mackie was the first one to show up,” Chris explained on The Tonight Show.

He continued, “I didn’t know he didn’t know what was going to happen. I say, ‘Hey man, isn’t that scene fantastic?’ and he said, ‘What scene?’ And I said, ‘The scene where I give you the shield!’ And he said, ‘You’re giving me the shield?’”

Chris ended up getting the script to show Anthony and shared a sweet moment as he got to see the scene for the first time.
