Michael Douglas Tells 'Kimmel' The 103rd Birthday Plans for Dad Kirk Douglas!

Michael Douglas paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night (November 19) and opened up about his low-key celebration plans for his dad Kirk Douglas‘ 103rd birthday.

“Well, it’s like, so 100. Okay, so he was 100. Big birthday, big birthday. The trouble is, when you’re 100, you don’t really want a big birthday,” the 75-year-old actor told Jimmy. “I threw a big party for him, it was great.”

“101. You know, ‘Okay, let’s have a nice party.’ ‘Again? I don’t…’ ‘Dad, it’s 101 years old. You have to have a birthday.’ Okay… 102…,” Michael continued. “So now he’s begging me, he’s got tears down his eyes. ‘Let’s just have dinner, the family together. Bring the kids.’”

Michael Douglas also talked about celebrating his 19th wedding anniversary with Catherine Zeta Jones, accidentally revealing that there will be an Ant-Man 3, his new Netflix show Green Eggs and Ham, and taking the actors that dub his voice in other countries to lunch.
