Author Mary Higgins Clark Dies at 92

Mary Higgins Clark has sadly passed away at the age of 92.

Simon & Schuster revealed the somber news in a tweet on Friday night (January 31).

“It is with deep sadness we say goodbye to the ‘Queen of Suspense’ Mary Higgins Clark, author of over 40 bestselling suspense titles. She passed away peacefully this evening, January 31, at the age of 92 surrounded by family and friends,” it read.

The iconic author was known as the “Queen of Suspense” and wrote more than 50 books, which all were bestsellers.

Mary is most well known for her “On the Street Where You Live”, and “Where are the Children?”

Mary‘s daughter, Carol Higgins Clark, is a popular mystery author.
