Jennifer Lopez & Shakira's Song Catalogs See 893 Percent Sales Gain After Super Bowl Performance

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira‘s song catalogs have net an 893 percent sales gain following their 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show performance!

The 50-year-old Hustlers star and the 43-year-old “Hips Don’t Lie” singer took the stage at the event on Sunday (February 2).

On that day, Jennifer and Shakira‘s songs – all of them, not just the ones they performed – earned an 893 percent sales increase in download sales in the U.S., Billboard reports.

Their songs sold 21,000 downloads on February 2, up from 2,000 on February 1.

Shakira’s songs sold 13,000 downloads on February 2, up 957 percent from around 1,000 on February 1. Jennifer‘s songs sold 8,000 downloads on February 2, up 800 percent from around 1,000 on February 1.

Their best-selling tracks on February 2 were also the ones they performed during the halftime show – Shakira’s were “Whenever, Wherever,” “Hips Don’t Lie,” and “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” while Jennifer Lopez‘s were “On the Floor,” “Let’s Get Loud,” and “Waiting for Tonight.”
