Keke Palmer Asks National Guard To March With Protesters in LA In Powerful Video
Keke Palmer has earned praises for her talk with the National Guard today (June 2) in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old singer, actress and Strahan, Sara & Keke host was on the streets for a peaceful protest this afternoon and urged members of the National Guard to not just kneel with protesters, but march alongside them.

“Stand together with the community, with society to stop, stop the governmental oppression,” she tells them in the video. “We need you. March with us, march beside us.”
While the men aren’t filmed marching beside the protesters, they do take a knee in support.
Keke has been earning praise for her speech to them on social media.
Actress Busy Phillips raved, “I would vote for @KekePalmer for literally anything-she is the real deal and so special.”
Max, who starred with Keke on Nickelodeon, added, “This is my friend and true queen, Keke Palmer. She has been someone I’ve loved, respected and admired, since we did Rags together. She is inspirational. She speaks truth. She demands more from those who are meant to protect us. Amplify strong Black voices right now.”
