Naya Rivera's Mother & Brother Pay Vigil at the Lake Where She Went Missing

Naya Rivera‘s mother and brother were spotted visiting Lake Piru on Saturday (July 11), three days after the actress went missing while swimming in the lake.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s department is still searching for Naya and the sheriff has been giving daily updates on what they were doing to try and locate the former Glee star.

ABC producer Anastasia Williams tweeted a photo on Saturday that showed Naya‘s mother and brother standing on a dock and looking out at the lake. Her mom is seen kneeling on the dock with her arms outstretched and the image is completely heartbreaking.

“The search continues for Naya Rivera. @VENTURASHERIFF told press that this man and woman are Naya’s mother and brother. Her mother is kneeling on the dock with her arms outstretched towards the water,” Anastasia tweeted.

On Friday night, the authorities gave an update and explained why they’re ruling out suicide as a possibility in the disappearance.
