Fans Are Calling Simone Biles' Boyfriend Out After He Claims He Didn't Know Who She Was When They First Started Dating

Simone Biles is best known as the greatest gymnast of all time, winning a total of 25 Olympic medals.

However, that fact seemed to have slipped boyfriend Jonathan Owens‘ mind as the two started dating.

In the new episode of Simone vs Herself on Facebook Watch, Jonathan revealed that he didn’t even know who she was!

Instead of her instantly recognizable face, Jonathan revealed that “her work ethic was really the first thing that kind of caught my eye.”

The Houston Texans football star added that he had “never really watched gymnastics before I first started talking to her. When I met her, I honestly didn’t know who she was.”

“It was just like, ‘Oh, she has a lot of followers—she must be pretty good or something,” Jonathan continued. “That’s how I would tell people and they’d be like: ‘Simone Biles?! You for real, the gymnast?! And I’m like, ‘Man, she’s good like that?!”
