'Rebel' Officially Canceled, ABC Series Fails to Find New Home for Season 2
The ABC series Rebel has officially been canceled after it was unable to find a new home.
ABC announced back in May that the network would not be ordering a second season of the freshman series, starring Katey Sagal as the title character.
The production company behind the show searched for a new home for the series and it was looking like IMDb TV would order a second season.

Series creator Krista Vernoff took to Twitter on Monday (August 16) to tell fans that the search for a new home had ended.
“THANK YOU to the fans behind the #SaveRebel campaign. Your passion was incredible. We have learned there won’t be a Season 2, but we truly hope Rebel & the extraordinary @ErinBrockovich will continue to inspire you to fight the good fight in your communities and in your lives,” she tweeted.
The head of ABC has explained why the network chose to cancel the series.
