Marvel producer Brad Winderbaum gave insight into why Tom Holland was one of the big Marvel stars who did not return to voice his original superhero character in What If…?

If you don’t know, nine of Marvel’s biggest names chose not to return to voice their superheros with Tom Holland being one of them.

Collider interviewed Brad and asked why Tom did not participate.

Brad responded, “You know, I’m not treated to all the ins and outs of the relationship with Sony. But, I think it may have had something to do with it, yeah.” If you don’t know, Sony owns the rights to the Spider-Man movies and Tom would have had to get permission from them to do this project.
