Idina Menzel Shares Exciting New Details About 'Enchanted' Sequel!

Idina Menzel is getting us so excited for the Enchanted sequel!

In a new interview, the 50-year-old Tony Award-winning actress shared exciting new details about Disney+’s upcoming Disenchanted starring Amy Adams.

While talking about the upcoming movie, Idina admitted she was “fine” not getting to sing in the 2007 movie, but she’s “really excited” that fans will get to see her sing in the long-awaited sequel.

“They gave me songs,” Idina shared with People. “They gave me music to sing, which I didn’t have in the first one, which was fine actually, everyone else made a big deal about it.”

In Enchanted, Idina played Nancy Tremaine, the ex of Patrick Dempsey‘s character Robert Philip.

“I was happy to be hired as just an actress, but now I’m really excited because these songs, Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote, the songs are incredible,” Idina continued. “But there’s so much music, and Amy singing her butt off, and it’s just Patrick singing and tap dancing. It’s really glorious and joyful and people are going to love it.”

Production for Disenchanted wrapped earlier this month. Back in May, Disney revealed all the actors that will be starring in the movie!
