Chelsea Handler Says She Has 'Hope' for Others After Falling in Love with Jo Koy

Chelsea Handler is opening up about her love life!

The comedian went public with her relationship last month, sharing a post in which she said she was dating someone new and that she was in love. It was later revealed her new boyfriend was fellow comedian Jo Koy.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show on Monday (October 11), the comedian dished on having a relationship with her “best buddy” and shared that her relationship gives her “hope” for others unlucky in love.

“If I fell in love at the age of 46, I have hope for every person in this world,” she told host Jimmy Fallon.

She went on to say that men had been “very discouraging these past couple of years,” and that she previously wondered who she would end up with before finding dating Jo.

“Then I had my friend Jo Koy, who was in my life a very long time,” she continued, adding that she became interested in him after he appeared as a panelist on her late night talk show Chelsea Lately.

“And then one day I just looked at him and I thought, ‘Oh that’s my guy!’ So he’s like my best buddy and then I also, you know, get to have sex with him… Fun time!” she said.

“So anyone, if you have a friend in your life that you think you’re not into or not attracted to, just remember my story and to be open-minded,” she concluded.
