'RHOBH' Producer Claims Lisa Vanderpump Leaked 'Puppygate' Storyline

A producer from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is making some claims about Lisa Vanderpump.

Fans of the show may remember the “Puppygate” storyline from season 9, which began when Dorit Kemsley adopted a dog from Lisa‘s shelter, Vanderpump Dogs.

Dorit then decided to rehome the puppy when she decided it wasn’t a right fit for the family and it ended up in a kill shelter, which alerted Vanderpump Dogs.

Lisa confronted Dorit about how she handled the situation and the story was leaked to the press shortly after, leading the cast of RHOBH to accuse Lisa of being the source of the leak. Lisa denied the claims and ultimately left the show due to the accusations.

When speaking to Dave Quinn for his tell-all book Not All Diamonds and Rose, RHOBH producer Chris Cullen alleged that the reality star was involved in leaking the story.

“When Lisa lost the narrative in the show, and she realized that it wasn’t going the way she wanted, that’s when she leaked the story to the press,” Chris said, per Page Six.

Executive producer and Evolution Media President Alex Baskin added that Lisa asked another producer to “sit the cast down and tell them they needed to believe her [about not leaking the story],” but he refused her request.

The drama severed Lisa‘s relationships with several members of the cast, including her former friend Kyle Richards.
