Kristen Hager Officially Exits 'Chicago Med' After Just One Season

Kristen Hager has officially left Chicago Med.

The 39-year-old actress, who played Dr. Stevie Hammer on the long-running series, has exited the show after just one season.

According to TV Line, Stevie was written out in an early March episode.

During that episode, Stevie had reconciled with her bipolar mother, before deciding to move to Michigan to give her marriage with her estranged husband another try.

“Her story arc with her mother ended. But we all really liked Kristen and would welcome her character coming back in the future,” executive producers Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov shared in a statement.

The added, “What’s happening with Stevie right now is she’s going back to try and reconnect with her husband and make that work. So we’re leaving that up in the air. Does that in fact happen? She is a character that has the potential to return.”

Earlier today, it was also revealed that another character might return to this other Chicago show.
