Brie Larson Hits The Premiere of Disney+'s 'Growing Up' Show That She Produces

Brie Larson sparkles in a silver jumpsuit at the premiere of Disney+’s Growing Up series held at NeueHouse Hollywood on Wednesday (September 7) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actress is an executive producer on the non-scripted series, which explores the challenges, triumphs, and complexities of adolescence through ten compelling coming of age stories.

It will use narrative, experimental, and documentary filmmaking to follow one casted individual, ages 18-22, as they tell their story. They represent a wide range of lived experiences with narratives that offer a look at teenage-hood and the diverse social, familial, and internal obstacles young people face on their path to self-discovery and acceptance.

Each 30-minute episode features one young person and their experience growing up. Brie will executive produce and direct an episode of it.

Sage Dolan-Sandrino, Raeshem Nijhon, Amiri Nash, Isabel Lam, Gavin Arneson, Vanessa Aryee, Carri Twigg, Rudy Valdez, David Puma, Sofia Ongele, Alex Crotty, Nicole Galovski, Emily Flores, Ashley Eakin, Smriti Mundhra, Athena Nair and Clara Della Valle were also seen at the premiere.
