Ricky Martin Files $20 Million Lawsuit Against Nephew Who Accused Him of Incest

Ricky Martin is firing back at his nephew.

Earlier this summer, the 50-year-old Puerto Rican entertainer was hit with a restraining order after his 21-year-old nephew claimed they had a relationship that lasted seven months, and that Ricky allegedly stalked and harassed him.

During a court appearance in late July, Ricky denied all of the accusations before his nephew withdrew his claims and asked to have the case dismissed.

On Wednesday (September 7), Ricky filed a $20 million lawsuit against his nephew.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Ricky says he’s been “persecuted, besieged, harassed, stalked and extorted by a maladjusted person,” aka his nephew.

According to the new lawsuit filed in San Juan, Puerto, Ricky claims that a month after his nephew withdrew his claims in court, he began sending Ricky messages on Instagram, threatening to “assassinate his reputation and integrity” unless Ricky paid him off.

The lawsuit also claims that the nephew’s messages were written by a “maladjusted individual,” adding that he reportedly posted Ricky‘s phone number on social media and allegedly created an Instagram account for one of Ricky‘s children.

Ricky also claims that his nephew’s accusations cost him several multimillion-dollar deals, and he’s now seeking a minimum of $20 million to mitigate those losses.

Ricky is also asking the judge to order his nephew to cease all communication with him and his family.
