Cherry Valentine, 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' Star, Dies at 28

Along with appearing on Drag Race, Cherry Valentine also went on to appear in the BBC documentary Gypsy Queen and Proud, which followed the young star’s journey from leaving the Gypsy community after coming out as gay, to inventing Cherry Valentine, a drag alter-ego.

George became a mental health nurse in 2015 prior to starting a career in drag. He also appeared in Charli XCX‘s music video for “Good Ones” more recently.
