Tom Hanks Plays the Grumpiest Man in America in 'A Man Called Otto' Trailer - Watch Now!

Tom Hanks will be back on the big screen at the end of the year and he’s set to play the “grumpiest man in America” in A Man Called Otto.

The film is based on the #1 New York Times best-selling book and tells the story of Otto Anderson (Hanks), a grumpy widower who is very set in his ways. When a lively young family moves in next door, he meets his match in quick-witted and very pregnant Marisol, leading to an unlikely friendship that will turn his world upside-down. Experience a funny, heartwarming story about how some families come from the most unexpected places.

Also starring in the movie are Mariana Trevino, Rachel Keller, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

Finding Neverland‘s Marc Forster directed the movie and Tom produced it alongside his wife Rita Wilson. The film will be released exclusively in New York and Los Angeles on December 25 ahead of a wide opening on January 13.
