“It is based off of my very short, but extremely hilarious experience on a dating app,” Carly shared with ET Canada.

“And the more I got to talking to other people about it, the more I realized that everyone had like similar horror stories,” Carly continued. “I think the most hilarious anecdote was, ‘I’m probably going to harvest your organs.’ We went a little far, but then we decided that once you go that far, it’s really hard to reel it back.”

Carly‘s mention the “organs” refers to her song “Beach House,” where she sings, “I’ve got a lake house in Canada / And I’m probably gonna harvest your organs / I’m probably gonna hurt you.”

The “Beach House” music video follows Carly recounting all of the undesirable men that she’s met through dating apps.

Carly is currently in the middle of her So Nice Tour. You can check out the set list here!
