Chris Redd Shares Personal Update With Fans After Being Attacked Last Week in NYC

Chris Redd is updating fans after being attacked outside a club last week.

The 37-year-old Saturday Night Live alum was set to perform at the Comedy Cellar in New York City when he was assaulted by a stranger.

Following the attack, Chris was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Now, in a new update, Chris is talking with fans and providing a new update about the situation and how he’s doing.

On his Instagram Story over the weekend, Chris was seen with a few bruises on his face from the incident, but with a big smile nonetheless.

“I’ve been resting up like crazy but thank you thank you thank you for all the messages of love, the jokes, and the concern! I’m ok and healing fast!!,” he shared, before telling those who bought tickets for the shows missed, to keep a hold on them.

“I’ll be putting back on the schedule so if you bought tickets SIT TIGHT AND I GOT YOU!!” Chris wrote. “I’ll be back up talking some good s–t very soon!!!”
