Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz Plans on Debunking Theory That Lea Michele Can't Read on New Podcast

Glee co-stars and longtime BFFs Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale have teamed up for a new podcast about the beloved series and they’re opening up about what you can expect.

Jenna says that she wants to address “all of” the crazy fan theories that have emerged throughout the years, including the conspiracy theory that Lea Michele doesn’t know how to read.

There’s also the “Glee curse.”

“We definitely want to debunk some of that crazy TikTok conspiracies, like Lea [Michele] can’t read and the Glee curse or why we hate [when] people say that. We definitely want to kind of jump into all of that,” she told People.

Jenna and Kevin will be rewatching all six seasons of Glee and recapping all of the episodes on the podcast. This is their second podcast following Showmance, in which they also talked about Glee.

“I think the thing that we want to do differently this time is really kind of dig into what was going on in the world as well, in pop culture, in politics, in the ways that I think the writers were probably inspired and impacted to write for the show,” Jenna said. “Gay marriage was just being legalized. We had the first Black president. It was a really inspiring time in many ways.”
