Carey Mulligan Says She Was 'Terrified' The Entire Time She Was Filming 'She Said'

Carey Mulligan hits the red carpet in a sophisticated look at the premiere of She Said during the 2022 AFI Fest at TCL Chinese Theatre on Friday (November 4) in Hollywood.

The -year-old actress joined director Maria Schrader and co-star Patricia Clarkson, and real reporters Megan Twohey, Rebecca Corbett and Jodi Kantor at the event.

Speaking to Variety recently, Carey admitted she was fearful for the entire shoot – but not for the reason you think.

Carey said that she was more terrified to play someone real with a heavy story attached.

“[It's a] daunting prospect to play someone real,” she said. “Then to play such real heroes of our society. I was terrified the whole time — and I still am!”

She Said, also starring Zoe Kazan, will be out in theaters on November 18. Watch the trailer here!
