Nintendo Debuts 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' Trailer - Watch!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is coming!

The Nintendo and Illumination animated film, based on the world of Super Mario Bros., just revealed the first trailer on Tuesday (November 29) ahead of its arrival in theaters on April 7, 2023.

The movie was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, collaborators on Teen Titans Go!, from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel.

The film stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

Here’s a plot summary: a plumber named Mario travels through an underground labyrinth with his brother, Luigi, trying to save a captured princess.
