Tyler Hynes & Paul Campbell React To Success of 'Three Wise Men & A Baby' On Hallmark

Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell are opening up about their new movie, Three Wise Men and a Baby , on Hallmark Channel.

The two actors made a recent appearance on a local news station ahead of their appearance at RomaDrama in Chicago over the weekend, and talked about the massive success of the flick.

If you missed it, Three Wise Men and a Baby averaged 3.6 million total viewers, and became the highest rated television movie of the year. It was also the second most-watched cable program of the week, trailing only behind Paramount Network, Yellowstone.

“It was a surprise,” Paul admitted about the massive ratings the movie earned. “You always hope for it to do well, but this kind of took on a life of its’ own.”

He then added that he gave Tyler and his social media following credit for those numbers.

“Creating videos that were shared around the globe, on TikTok, and feeds that constantly caught fire. I think that gave to a lot of the viewership.”

Tyler then opened up about the fans he acquired from his Hallmark presence: “It is the most genuine sincere interaction you can imagine. These are human beings who come to this channel, in a state looking for something that is a warm and safe environment. When you find somebody in that kind of circumstance, you touch them in a way that other content maybe doesn’t.”

“We hear the most vulnerable stories, the most personable things from human beings and I think that’s the reason why this movie did really well,” he added. “We’re just happy to be along for the ride.”

Three Wise Men and a Baby will next be on Hallmark on Saturday, December 10 and Thursday, December 15.
