Josh Hutcherson & Matthew Lillard to Star in Movie Adaption of 'Five Nights at Freddy's' Video Game

Matthew Lillard and Josh Hutcherson are teaming up for a new movie.

The two actors will be starring in Blumhouse’s upcoming adaption of the video game Five Night’s at Freddy’s.

The video game “follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through,” according to Deadline.

The characters that Matthew and Josh will be playing has not yet been announced.

Filming for Five Nights at Freddy’s is expected to take place in New Orleans and will begin in February 2023.

The film was co-written by Scott Cawthon, Emma Tammi, and Seth Cuddeback. Emma will also be directing.
