Bob Marley's Grandson, Jo Mersa Marley, Dead at 31

Jo Mersa Marley, the grandson of the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley, has died at the young age of 31.

A rep for the singer confirmed the news to Rolling Stone, though not many official details are known at this time.

Some independent journalists have reported details that are yet to be confirmed.

Jamaican-based journalist Abka Fitz-Henley tweeted that Marley was “found unresponsive in a vehicle” in the USA.

South Florida radio station WZPP claims that Marley passed away following an asthma attack after being found in his vehicle on Thursday morning (December 27). The report says that he “leaves behind his wife and daughter.”

Marley was a reggae artist, just like his grandfather and several other family members. He released an EP titled Comfortable back in 2014.
