The Sun reports that Janet is taking notes from Beyonce, who did the same with her own tour, and implementing “Me Too checks”.

A source with knowledge on the matter shared that “the checks will see everyone from her dancers and band mates to crew and general staff vetted to ensure they don’t have a history of abuse.”

The insider went on, adding that while it’s “not cheap to do but for Janet and those close to her, creating a safe and kind work environment is more important than profits. She also wants a completely non-toxic working environment for all her staff and by implementing these early checks she is eradicating the risk.”

Beyonce enforced the same type of checks for her own Renaissance tour for producers and collaborators, following the reveal that one former collaborator was arrested for sexual assault in 2020.
