'You' Actress Ambyr Childers Gets Temporary Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband Randall Emmett

Ambyr Childers has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband Randall Emmett.

The 34-year-old actress, best known for her roles on Netflix’s You and NBC’s Aquarius, was married to Randall for eight years and they share two children together. They divorced in 2017.

Ambyr previously requested an emergency domestic violence restraining order against Randall in October, claiming that she received a threatening email from her ex’s attorney. The judge turned down the request, saying that the email was “inadmissible” since it was “confidential attorney-client communication,” according to Page Six.

Now, Ambyr has been granted a temporary order of protection after another request.

The Los Angeles Times reports that a judge granted Ambyr the temporary restraining order after she said “she was contacted by an FBI special agent who asked her about Emmett’s ‘suspected activities with child exploitation and pedophilia.’”

Ambyr says that she suffered “extreme destruction and disturbance of [her] emotional calm and peace of mind” after the call from the FBI as her children are “often alone” with Randall.

Randall has been ordered to stay 100 yards from Ambyr and he’s not allowed to contact her unless it’s a “brief and peaceful” interaction regarding visitation for their two kids.

In response to the news, Randall told the LA Times that he was “not being investigated by the FBI nor anyone else, and the notion that I am is beyond absurd. There is zero evidence that I’m being investigated for anything. I am shocked and in utter disbelief that Ambyr would even hint at something so disgusting and untrue.”

Ambyr once spoke out to slam one of Randall‘s former loves.
