Austin Butler Makes First Appearance After Lisa Marie Presley's Tragic Death at Critics Choice Awards 2023

Austin Butler steps out alongside Elvis director Baz Luhrmann and costume designer (and Baz’s wife) Catherine Martin at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actor is nominated this evening for his work as Best Actor in Elvis.

This is the first appearance for Austin after the tragic and sudden death of Lisa Marie Presley, who passed away earlier this week at the age of 54. She went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital earlier this week. Lisa Marie was the only child of Elvis Presley.

Austin released a statement after her passing. Our continued thoughts are with Lisa Marie’s family and loved ones. RIP.
