ON THE MESSAGE OF THE MOVIE:

I think there’s a reason that people like these Hallmark movies and why Hallmark has been around for so many years, and that I believe that love is really what makes the world go around and it is the most important thing. So, of course, inserted into there are, you know, other messages throughout the film, but the big, big takeaway is just that love is the most important thing in the world.

If you can find somebody who you can be in love with…I think it’s magic. That’s certainly why I enjoy watching these Hallmark movies. I hope that other people sort of feel the same way, just all about love.

I always sort of had this idea that because we, I’ve done a lot of movies that we then pitched to Hallmark and, um, then, you know, sold them to Hallmark. So they started off as more independent sort of films that were then sold to Hallmark.

This was one of my only ones I’ve done that was already picked up by Hallmark and it was just sort of this reminder that it’s all difficult. Like each job you have will come with its own challenges. Just because something is already green lit by a production company doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy, and that was like a really just a reminder for me of all things in life.

You can always sort of be looking and thinking that grass is greener on the other side, but it’s not always everything comes with its challenges. It was a absolutely wonderful experience and I loved every second of it, but it was a reminder that all of them are hard movies that we shoot very, very quickly…just because it’s bought by Hallmark doesn’t mean it’s gonna be any easier.
